Q: Is it really true that a site that looks as good as this would cost less than $650?
A: Yes it is. We can build you a beautiful basic site for just $645 (See the exclusions on our home page). Remember though, that this price assumes you have most of your text and images ready for us. If not, don't worry, we can arrange these for you. Our charges are very resonable. In fact we routinely include some images and text, and we have talented writers. We also offer free help with getting your message across in your text, with things like attention grabbing headings etc. Also, this price exludes hosting and domain name registration. Q: I don't understand this "domain name" stuff. If I get a website from you, what would my domain name be?
A: That's up to you, but we can help you there. Most people like to include their existing business name in their website name. For example, if you're a plumber and your business name is Joe's Plumbing Services, you might consider www.joesplumbing.com.au. Even better, if you only work in one city, say Geelong...then you might consider www.joesplumbersgeelong.com.au. That way, when people in Geelong are searching for a plumber, and they type in "plumbers geelong" as a search key-phrase, you're a lot more likely to appear in the search results than if you had called your site say, www.jps.com.au Of course, you can call your site just about anything you like - within reason.
Q: I hear the search engines don't like certain sites. Are your sites "Search Engine Friendly?"
A: Absolutely! Supercheap websites are built to world quality standards for search engine friendliness and recognition.
Q: Do I have a choice of site design?
A: Yes you do. We'll try to come up with a really great design in keeping with the "feel" of your business. If you don't take to it straight away, we'll offer you alternatives.
Q: If I wanted video included, would I have to provide it - or can you produce it for me?
A: We can produce it providing it's physically practical to do so. For example, you'd need to be located a reasonable distance from us. We're located in Ocean Grove (Near Geelong) and Sunbury, Victoria.
Q: How long does it take to get my website up and running?
A: This can happen quite quickly providing you work with us to organise the content. If you do this, your site would usually be ready to go inside a month. But please don't hold us to that because some sites are more complex than others.
Q: I already have a website, but it's a disaster! Can you fix it?
A: We probably could, but if it's a real mess, it might be best to go back to the drawing board and start afresh.
Rebuilding from is often the most efficient way to salvage a poorly designed or badly built site. Of course, many older sites don't incorporate modern site features, so a rebuild can also give your site a new, fresh look.
Q: If I get you to build my site, can I edit my own content?
A: Most people don't want to play around with their site in case they muck something up, but if there are specific text areas that you want to edit yourself, then we can set up online editable pages for you. We don't charge much to make changes for you anyway, and we can make them quickly and easily.
Q: I bet the catch is - there are heaps of on-going maintenance costs. Am I right?
A: Sorry, you're not right. We offer a free 1 year "tweaking" period for new sites, because in that year you're probably going to want to make a few little changes. After that, your site should pretty well be on auto-pilot.
If your site has elements that change regularly, we have management plans that are fair and reasonable. They vary depending on the amount of maintenance your site requires.
